How to measure a client for a P Pod

In order to size your P Pod correctly you need some basic measurements of the client. Please Keep the Tape Measure position straight during measurements. Do not wrap the tape measure around the body.

A – Hip Width
B – Trunk Width
C – PSD (Buttock/Thigh Depth)
D – Axilla Height
E – Shoulder Height
F – Head Height
G – Knee to Foot

Hip Width

Measure in a straight line from the outside of the hip to the outside of the hip across the front of the body.

Trunk Width

Measure in a straight line from armpit to armpit across the chest.

Seat Depth

Position the clients leg at right angles (pictured). Measure from the buttock to the back of the knee.

Axilla Height

Measure from the bottom of the buttock to the armpit in a straight line.

Shoulder Height

Measure from the bottom of the buttock to the bottom of the shoulder.

Head Height

Measure from the bottom of the buttock to the top of the head.

Knee To Foot

Measure from the back of the knee to the flat of the heel.
